Status: Single

A simple SMS message that i have read.

So what if you're single?

commited?

or exclusively dating?

at the end of the day, it won't really matter coz..

love is not a status.

Many of us think that if we're in a relationship, we tend to stop meeting other people to prevent our girlfriends/boyfriends to think malicious about us. Being a two-timer, playboy, or playgirl.

It is right to prevent a mutual relationship with others but we should also have a bit of freedom and space between our mates. We may have new friends or pals. (But not another girlfriend.)

In love, we are given trust to believe in our partner. Trust that even if she's away you aren't thinking of her dating with some other man aside from you. (Why do I hear a male voice whenever I talk to her on phone?) Love is a feeling that we share and cherish in our hearts. It's our duty to love and to be loved. Love is having unity between two different persons like helping one another. (How about making love with each other? WTF!)

If we're asked about our love life I think that it's wrong to say, "Single pa rin." or "In a relationship ako 'eh.". Your love life is not about that, it is about how you feel love. It's about the give and take process of love.

Love is not a status. (Bow!)

(P.S. Whew! Ang hirap mag-english. Ang sarap talaga kapag tagalog pagkakagawa. Baka ito na ang first and last blog ko na english. Hihimatayin na ako!)
